Random Koreans behind me
Busan, South Korea
Last weekend, the other foreign teacher I work with (Liz) and I went to Busan. She has friends in the city and knows the subway and buses, so I wanted to learn from her.
The bus from Changwon to Busan was only 3500 Won and took about an hour and a half because there was SOOOO much fucking traffic! Lots of people head to Busan for the firework show. We arrived in Busan, then headed straight to the subway. Subway was super cheap and the ticket machines have an English accent as well. Subway cars were fully stocked of people thanks to the firework show and everyone trying to get the the beach where people go to watch the show.
A korean woman felt up my goods while on the subway…twice actually. It was the most action I had gotten in Korea, so I was fine with it. She did it so blatently, Liz just laughed and smiled….as did I. Shit, I was almost half stock.
After my kind of handjob (in my head anyways), we exited the subway to look for Dr. Fish. It is the place where you stick your feet into a pool full of little fish and they eat the dried skin off your feet….but the one Liz knew where it was had closed down. Walking around Busan is much different than walking around my area…you can find white people on the street easily.

To sum it up quickly….the crowd was pretty nuts and I wouldn’t be surprised if a few people were trampled to death. Lots of people drinking in the streets and then peeing in the alley. The fireworks were pretty good, not quite as good as Thunder Over Louisville, but pretty good. You would probably enjoy yourself more in the spring or summer because it is warmer and by then I can be an excellent tour guide, but you are invited to come whenever you want!
