Ya, so I know in the last post I said I would write about double decker buses and homeless people…well I lied! Ha! I have just been quite busy and anxious. I would write about those two topics now, but the memories and thoughts have faded and I would end up just rambling on about non sense.
I told work about my future plans! This was actually making me quite anxious, even though I didn’t care to much. I am always afraid of letting people down or possibly being viewed as a failure…maybe that’s why I was anxious???
I spoke with my boss on Friday and told him about my career change and also my relocation. He was actually very happy for me and knew I wouldn’t stay around here for long. He asked me questions about the job in S. Korea and not about my current position…weird. I told him my last day would be September 11th, but I could POTENTIALLY stay another week if needed and some negotiations would be made. He was grateful for the months notice, but sad to see me go. (he likes me a lot and we bond on a lot of shit…dude shit…haha)
I let him know I would be taking about a month off to travel some, visit people, get shit in order for leaving the country and just relax. He couldn’t have been more happy for me.
Cool thing is, I already scheduled ALL of my vacation days to be used before the 11th….sneaky sneaky eh? So, I now have 16 working days left and potentially only 14 (I have 2 sick days I could and most likely WILL use before I am gone). Then, I will have almost a whole month of FREEDOM!!! I am planning a little adventure before I go…possibly to Costa Rica? Tickets are cheap!!
As a conclusion…it feels good to tell work about my plans and feels even better that they were so cool about it. Maybe I will start posting more consistently….I will bet not though.
Oh ya, Ray and G just got to India on their couple year long adventure to…wherever the fuck they want…they are funny, check them out HERE!

Chris! Wow I feel a little behind the times…even though I’m up on the current times…somehow (probably owing to the fact we’d just arrived in India) I’d missed this one. Just wanted to thank you for the shout-out and for always being so supportive of our trip! I was just clearing up all our old fmy401k accounts which is how I just saw this link. You’ll be happy to know I intend to re-vamp the site soon, so it won’t be defunct forever.
As for this entry – I’m so glad it went so well for you! When we were finally “out” to everyone – Ray’s work, Ray’s parents, and finally my work, it was so awesome to be able to go from harboring our “dirty little secret” to treating and recognizing it like the awesome f-ing trip it was (and is!
