Okay, so last week was rather crazy at work and personal life in general. I will go straight to the somewhat good ending which was my Friday at work. I was given a promotion to Brand Manager from Assistant Brand Manager and was given a modest raise (which I contested and tried to get more, we will see how that works out for me at the end of this week) and will receive another modest raise July 1.
So now the more in depth story. On Monday, my boss didn’t show up to work again and said that he told us he was taking a vacation day, which of course he did not. So that was a little strange and made us wonder. Also, over the weekend I saw the VP with her car parked diagonally and her trunk popped. Our CMO was also coming on Tuesday without most everyone’s knowledge.
So we thought the VP might have been announcing her retirement, but we were very wrong. She ended up going to a competitor and my boss bought into a company and is part owner now.
So enough about that….I am now 100% finished with my alcohol class and community service hours. I received a certificate of my completing (it is posted on my fridge now, ha!) and am done with the legal troubles. I am still working a ton and making a little more money. I am trying to get my race legs back since the mini marathon is about 10 weeks away.
No new work on the website either…still waiting for a little more time. My good buddy Mike will be there to help when I need it though, so I am not worried. His site, Sportslocks is making him a nice pretty penny each month. Hopefully I will meet my goal of $1000 this month, the raise will help a little. Also, no offers on the house yet, but a few people looked at it last week….blah!
